On Sat 21st May we were delighted to join with Maynooth Tidy Towns to help with their weekly cleanup around the town. The busy and enjoyable work ended with a shared brunch hosted by MCC in Manor Mills. Denis Johnston, from the ‘Coffee Mill’, who very kindly supplied us with a veritable feast of hot Irish breakfast fare, also expressed his thanks for the wonderful work John Kavanagh and his dedicated team do throughout the year.
We learnt that some of the Tidy Towns group are out from 6.00am to ensure Maynooth remains clean and litter free. Our brunch provided a lovely occasion to express our thanks as a church and share some great time together with some of our communities secret heroes.
