This year’s Music & Art Festival took place on Saturday 26th of August on what proved to be a beautiful summer’s day. Our 8th annual event on the Town Square, this year’s theme was ‘Discarded Treasure’, and a trove of thought provoking art created by local artists and talented members of our congregation was on display.
As always, those who came along enjoyed complimentary tea, coffee and home bakes while kids had their faces painted or played with giant Jenga, Checkers or other street games. The festival concluded on Saturday evening with an array of great music from a wealth of talented local musicians such as Katie Neville, Roisín & Vanessa Addo, Alex Harding & Pauline Keane. Congratulations to everyone involved and all who worked so hard behind the scenes to make it possible.
