This year’s MCC Arts Festival took place on Saturday 17th September here on Maynooth Square. Our theme was “Ordinary Plenty” from the poem ‘Advent’ by Patrick Kavenagh and, as always, we had such a fun time sharing with our wider community on what proved to be a lovely dry and warm day. During the afternoon, our largest crowd ever enjoyed playing games, face painting, browsing art work, and savouring our folks’ tea, coffee and treats. In the evening we had another wonderful concert with some amazingly talented young people leading the way. We want to say a huge thank you to all who worked so hard behind the scenes as well as up front. It was a great day.
We’ve put some photos from the day below but you can see lots more on our Facebook page by clicking HERE.
