A LENTEN PRAYER
Beloved, child of my heart, in this waiting, not yet time, – Come to Me.
In times of knowing my faithfulness, goodness and joy, – Come to Me.
In times of, not knowing, uncertainty and doubt, – Come to Me.
In times where shadows loom and brightness seems far away- Come to Me.
In times of feeling bruised and battle weary, – Come to Me.
In times of boring sameness, – Come to Me.
In times of changed boundaries, – Come to Me.
In times of wrestling with unmet expectations, – Come to Me.
Come to me. Come seek my heart, my face. Come weary, come heavy laden. In your seeking of me remember my promise is to rescue, carry and sustain you. Consider the cross: Know that I have loved you with an everlasting love and that it is with unfailing kindness that I have and will continuously draw you unto myself.
